We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team and support our operations as financial advisors. We hope to find someone who shares our core values: a love of learning, an enjoyment of teamwork, and a desire to do quality work in whatever we do.
Our job entails many different skills and tasks, which makes it fun! There is a lot to learn in a financial career and we will help you along the way to develop these skills and more.
Some of the types of work you will help us with include:
Developing systems to optimize tracking and reporting
Problem solving client issues, including working with advisors and the investment custodian’s service team
Learning financial topics to understand client transactions and anticipate advisor needs
Tracking and reconciling trades in financial software and at the custodian
Preparing documents for onboarding new clients and serving current clients
Compiling quarterly performance reports, reviewing for accuracy and spotting unusual items
Streamlining invoicing and tracking client fee payments
Helping with a whole slew of special projects that tend to pop up
Hours are negotiable, but we are targeting between 25-35 hours a week, with a flexible work schedule
Position can also be full time if applicant also has an interest in tax planning work
Hourly wage of $28-$33/hour, based on experience and skills
Flexible paid time off of 3 weeks per year, with an additional week (4 weeks total) starting the second year of employment

Initial work-in-the-office is needed for training and team building, but future flexibility for hybrid home/office work is negotiable (we value work/life balance)

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred for the position, but not required:
Previous experience in the financial advising and/or operations fields
Experience with financial or equivalent software
Previous coursework in financial planning topics
